Wood Collection
To print a digital image on a surface of wood is to bring together two diverse exciting worlds. Each piece of wood has its own personality, an unique grain and texture, which makes each print a distinct work of art.
I prefer to print images directly on birch wood or rubber wood. The natural lines of the wood’s grains show through the lighter colours of the photograph giving the print a natural warm tone and vintage feel.
Sometimes depending on the photograph, the printing is done on wood with an underlay of white ink to enhance the natural colours of the image.
This page displays print samples. Please contact me for more information and options.
